So, as promised, I’d post here if there was anymore dizzywood news. On dizzywood’s blog, they posted a strange picture that they said is a sneak peak for something we’ll be seeing soon. Here it is!

It’s concept art of something, but I’m not sure what. They look like monsters, one male, one female. It also looks like dizzywood’s regular art style. But, what could it mean? Hopefully we’ll get some more dizzywood-related news soon! I wonder what they’re planning… I have some ideas that I might post soon, but I’d love to hear some of yours! <3

A few days ago I decided to see if there was any news about dizzywood, and instead of coming across the usual broken url, I noticed something quite different. After many months, the dizzywood creators finally announced some news about the now-dead virtual world. They’re actually looking for ways to bring dizzywood back, although it doesn’t seem as if they will bring back the whole game. They say in “some way, shape or form” which could mean anything! Maybe they’re thinking of creating an official forum or blog of some sort. Whatever it is, I’m really glad we’re still hearing news about dizzywood, and that the creators haven’t given up on us yet! Keep going strong everyone! I’ll post on this blog if I hear anymore news.

Dizzywood Coming Back?

‘Thank you everyone for all the kind words about Dizzywood. We really wish we could have kept it going as is for a long time. But don’t despair! You may not have heard the last of Dizzywood. This was posted on Dizzywood’s facebook a couple of days ago, and I’m excited to find out what it means. Perhaps dizzywood is coming back? Maybe the dizzywood company somehow got more money to continue running the site, or they might even completely redesign dizzywood? Or perhaps this is something stupid and nothing to be excited about…? Whatever this means, I hope we’ll hear more about dizzywood soon.

RIP Dizzywood?

I haven’t been on dizzywood in a really long time, since it never updates anymore. I remember back in the old days where there were new missions ever couple of days, and tons of events. But, the staff gave up on that. They might have thought dizzywood was a waste of time and effort, but it really wasn’t. Dizzywood is unique. It has a unique style and feel to it, making it much different than all he other sites, like fantage and secretbuilders. On dizzywood you don’t just glide on a hoverboard everywhere; you can actually walk, run, dance and skip. Dizzywood actually cared about the community for a while, until they started to die out. There used to be three servers full on every day after school and the weekends, now servers are rarely full. Dizzywood obviously hasn’t been advertising anywhere, which made less people join. Then, after only three short years, they announced that they were closing.

So I of course logged on dizzywood, ready to spend a couple more days on it. While I was on it I found that it was actually fun! I thought before dizzywood was so boring, and I hardly thought about it for months on end. But on those last few days I made new friends and memories on dizzywood.

After December 31, I found out that it was still open. The homepage with the play now link was still open. But then a few days later the link came down, although there was another way to go on dizzywood, which most of you know. I went on and was surprised to find that there were a lot of people on. Then one day after school, I couldn’t log on dizzywood. It said it was unavailable, and I thought at last that Scooter had finally closed down the servers. But then an hour later they were up again! And still to this day they are up and running.

Now you’re probably asking what was the reason for this huge block of text, right? Well, I just wanted to share my last few weeks on dizzywood, and how I changed my views on it so quickly. No, I really doubt that dizzywood will be open for much longer, since they ran out of money to run it, which the moderater cecy said so herself. I took a picture of when she said it, but I now I can’t find it. Luckily I took some pictures on the supposedly last day of dizzywood. Here they are:

I know hardly anyone will actually read this post, but I felt that I should write something for dizzywood’s last day.

Blog Closing for a While :(

Hey everyone!

I’ve decided to close this blog for a while. I hardly go on dizzywood anymore, it’s gotten boring after the beta testing, and I went on less, and less every day. This blog will open again eventually. (:

Right now, I’m a worker at a blog. It’s a roleplay blog, and we’re roleplaying about the warrior cats series by Erin Hunter. If you’ve read any of the books and want to join the roleplay, just post on the blog saying your cats name and if its an kit, apprentice, warrior, elder, medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice.

Missions

Exciting news, Explorers! We’re working on some big changes to our Missions on Dizzywood. They’ll be getting a cool new look, with more quests, excitement and danger!

While the Missions are under construction, you’ll still be able to complete all of your existing Missions. Have you decoded the secret message from Spy Bear? Have you battled the Monsterachnids? Have you defeated the game bosses in the fight against evil Emperor Withering?

There’s still time to get it all done. So, hurry up and finish those Missions. And stay tuned for awesome new Missions coming soon!

So, apparently there is going to be new missions. Groomfur’s assistant was asking if we thought we need more missions, everyone answered yes! Speaking about him, he’ll be on a dizzywood server any minute now, check out dizzywoods twitter (http://twitter.com/Dizzywood)to find out which server hes going on.

There has also been a new survey, it’s about how much you like some dizzywood characters and critters.

Hola!

I would tell you that my jaw has hit the floor from all the LOVELY fashions I’ve seen you wear, but that wouldn’t make speaking very easy for me. So instead I’ll tell you that you are all FABULOUS!

I hope most of you have had a chance to meet my wonderful assistant. He’s been making his grand appearance everyday this week in different Dizzywood servers. He’s great, isn’t he? I’ve taught him well.

He can’t stop raving about what a great time he’s having, so I’ve asked him to extend his stay this Friday, September 25th from 3:00pm-5:00pm Pacific Time.

He’s still going to be out in full fashion force everyday this week at 3:00pm, so if you’re looking to model in one of his terrific fashion shows the best way to hear where he’ll be is by checking the Dizzywood Twitter.

Hiring workers!

Hey everybody, this blog is hiring! I need someone to help post missions, news and fun stuff about dizzywood! So, if you want to apply to be a worker, just comment.

Here are the requirements:

Must know how to use WordPress – I need someone with a basic understanding of WordPress, but if you don’t know how to do something, just ask!
Must have their own blog – It doesn’t matter what the blog is about! It could be about dizzywood, ourworld, fantage or about you! Make sure to tell me the link.
Must have an email address – Either tell me your email address or put it in the box, if you want I can delete the address from the comment after I see it, for privacy. Email is very important because that is how I add you to the blog!
When your making posts dnt tlk lyke dis, be literate!. – It’ll be hard to see what you’re saying. Try to spell correctly please. Usually I fix mistakes when I see some.
Add a post about 1 or 2 a week – If you’re going on a trip or something, please tell me first!

Changing site back to DW!

Dizzywood is sorta getting funner for me..I dunno why. But, I’m gonna start blogging about it again! There are hardly DW blogs and people probably need help with charms and missions, so I’ll do my best to update everyday! But, if I dont, remember that I have a life other than dizzywood too!

And it’s that time again to make a check list! Here it goes!

[] Advertise, advertise, advertise: You can help too, I’d appreciate it very much.

[] Make a Charms page and update when they’re new charms: This’ll be tiring, but I’ll try my best!

[] Make more stories: I love writing, and the story I have up stinks – yes, I know it was made a long time ago!

[] Make a banner: This’ll be the first thing I do! And, it’s one of the funnest!

[] Hire workers: Actually one of the hardest thing to do. 1. Because my site isnt that popular. 2. Because it’s hard to trust people these days!

There is much more! This is just the begginning.
